Journeys will blend the traditional military elements you know and love with modern flair, featuring creative projections, stunning costume designs, and diverse musical inspirations. Led by the Royal Navy, the show pays tribute to the seafarers who brave the oceans, connecting continents and cultures.

Over 800 international performers will journey from around the world to meet on Edinburgh Castle Esplanade to showcase their talents. Among our performers will be representatives from international media outlets, who will have access to the Esplanade throughout the performance to catch a first glimpse at this year's phenomenon, with press coverage extending around the world.

Our line-up includes an eclectic mix of performers from India, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, and the United States.

The iconic Massed Pipes and Drums, known for their powerful sound and emotive entrance, signify the coming together of Scottish and Military traditions, presented by those at the very top of their game.

As ever, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Performers will take you on a captivating journey through traditional Scottish music and dance, featuring our extraordinary Pipers, Drummers, Fiddlers, and Highland Dancers.

Making their Tattoo debut, the Majesticks Drum Corps from Switzerland will amaze you with dazzling special effects and impeccable timing. Also debuting is the United States Navy Ceremonial Guard, whose nail-biting weapon handling routine will leave you on the edge of your seat. Explore our full Journeys line-up.
