By bus

The closest bus stop to the venue is located on George IV Bridge which is approximately 300 metres from the Tattoo Arena. George IV Bridge is serviced by Lothian Buses. Edinburgh Bus Station is located approximately a 15 minute walk from the venue. Further details regarding bus routes and timetables can be found at www.lothianbuses.com.

By train

Edinburgh Waverley Train Station is a short walk of approximately 10 minutes from the venue. Further details regarding train services can be found at www.travelinescotland.com.

By car

Parking is not available at the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade. For a map and street guide to the main car parks in the centre of Edinburgh visit www.edinburgh.gov.uk/parking.

By tram

Edinburgh Trams operate between Edinburgh Airport and St Andrew Square, operating a 'Park & Ride' service at Ingliston. The Princes Street Tram stop is approximately 7 minutes walk from the venue. Further details regarding tram services can be found at https://edinburghtrams.com.

There is only one queue to access The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and this starts at Johnston Terrace. Please see map below for reference.

Pre-order closes 1 hour before the performance start time on the day you are visiting.

Cashless bars will also be in operation throughout the venue. Please note, all bars will close 10 minutes prior to the performance start time.

There are water stations in the arena for filling up bottles. Please ensure that any bottles brought on site are less than 750ml and are either empty or unopened.

A selection of hot and cold food will also be available for purchase within the arena.
